Car

From the North
Travel south on the A1, exit slip road and continue south on to the A19. From the A19 take the exit onto A191 (Whitley Bay) at roundabout take second exit onto A191(Whitley Bay Centre) at next roundabout turn right onto Cobalt Business Park.

From the South
Travel north on the A19 past Silverlink Retail Park, take the exit for A191 (Whitley Bay) at roundabout take fifth exit for (Whitley Bay Centre), at roundabout take second exit, then turn right onto Cobalt Business Park at the third roundabout.

Rail

With direct links to the major cities in the UK along the East Coast Mainline and a 3.5 hour journey time direct to London Kings Cross the centrally located Grade I listed Newcastle Central Station offers a multitude of rail links in exceptional surroundings; while the Metro Station located within Central Station ensues that transport links to Cobalt are seamless.

Simply take a metro direct from Platform 2 to Northumberland Park Interchange from which you can connect to the R19 bus service outside of Sainsbury’s direct to Cobalt Business Park. The total journey time from Newcastle Central Station to Cobalt Business Park is a mere 35 minutes while the cost-effective Day Rover Ticket, available for purchase from Metro ticket machines at Newcastle Central Metro Station, will cover both the metro and bus journey to Cobalt Business Park.

Airport

Newcastle International Airport welcomed some 5.7 million travelers in 2007, offering flights to 18 domestic airports with between 3 and 6 flights per day to the main London Airports – Heathrow, Gatwick & Stansted - with British Airways, EasyJet and Flybe.

The Metro Station located in the Airport runs services to South Gosforth Metro Station, a seamless transfer at South Gosforth to Platform 2 will allow you to catch the Metro to Northumberland Park Interchange where you can connect to the R19 bus service for a 3 minute journey direct to Cobalt Business Park.

Buses & Routes

A wide range of Bus Services connect to Cobalt Business Park from the Cobalt Clipper 309 service from Newcastle and Blyth to the R19 which meets every North Shields Ferry and Metro at Northumberland Park Interchange. The R19 also connects to the 9 and 9A service at Percy Main Interchange allowing passengers to travel from North Tyneside to South of the Tyne. Other services that run direct through Cobalt are the 337, 356 and 355 Arriva services and the 40C, 41C, 75, 76 and 318 Go North East services, connecting Ashington, Morpeth, Gosforth, Wallsend, Whitley Bay, North Shields, Tynemouth, Cramlington, Ashington, Killingworth, Monkseaton and many more locations directly to Cobalt.



Metro

The Metro Network-consisting of 59 stations-provides transport links across North and South Tyneside, linking the major cities of Gateshead, Newcastle and Sunderland. The Transport Interchange at Percy Main, North Shields Ferry and Northumberland Park provides connections to the R19 Bus Service facilitating direct links to Cobalt Business Park while the new Northumberland Park Interchange also benefits from Park & Ride facilities. Metro’s run every 10 minutes during peak hours, with one metro every 15 minutes off-peak.

Cycling & Walking Routes

Well-maintained walking routes and off-road cycle ways which connect to the Waggonways Cycle Route are available on Cobalt allowing safe access to the Business Park for both pedestrians and cyclists while Cycle Parking is available at all buildings on Cobalt Business Park.
