We have invested a great deal in transport on Cobalt, with a dedicated Travel Co-Ordinator on-site able to provide personal travel plans for all Cobalt members and a regularly updated Travel Section on the Cobalt website with information on all possible modes of transport to and from Cobalt Business Park. From the Cobalt Clipper 309 Service running between Blyth and Newcastle, Car Sharing and Taxi Share schemes to designated off-road cycle routes that connect up to the Waggonways Cycle Ways your journey to work should be as easy and carefree as is possible. Cobalt members can also borrow one of ten brand new bicycles to get around the park, whether for a leisurely cycle during a lunch hour or to commute between buildings on the ever expanding Cobalt site.

Need to make a connection?
The frequent Route19 buses that run through Cobalt Business Park are just the ticket! Running until late
in the evening they link to the metro at Northumberland Park and Percy Main and also connect to
Royal Quays and North Shields Ferry, where they meet all ferries coming from South Shields and so
ensure that commuting from south of the river is quick and easy. With dedicated bus lanes on many
routes commuters already feel the benefit of beating congested traffic queues, arriving at their destination
safely and stress free!
What’s more bus tickets are now available for purchase from Cobalt Business Parks’ Travel Co-Ordinator
in the Cobalt Ticket Office so there is no need to fumble around for loose change every day to buy your
ticket on-board. You can either pop into the office and purchase a ticket in person or place an order online
and have your ticket delivered to your place of work. Even better you can benefit from the travel ticket
discounts that are exclusively available to members of the Cobalt Community! You can save even more
money by purchasing your travel pass via the Annual Ticket Scheme and most companies offer an
annual interest free loan or tax free benefits.
